Doing our PART
Special Awareness Event

In 1916 a group of Texas women committed themselves to mutual understanding, knowledge, and friendship among the peoples of the Western Hemisphere through education, outreach and friendship. The story of PART, the Pan American Round Table, is that of bold women moved to address the negative effects suffered by women and children during the Mexican Civil War and border confrontations between Mexico and the United States a century ago. Similar desperate needs are a grim reality today.  Once again the women of PART support those seeking asylum by standing in solidarity with two organizations engaged in humanitarian assistance: Team Brownsville, Inc. and Casa Marianella.
